Wesley Dorms

Student Housing

The Wesley Foundation has men's and women's dorms that house twenty students. We feel that it is a special opportunity for students to be able to live at Wesley. We strive to create a safe community that significantly adds to the college experience. But we do not have the ability to create community for students; rather, the best that we can do is do we can to provide the space where community might be formed. Living at Wesley is an opportunity to be a part of a special form of community, but it is up to the students themselves to create that community. Therefore, it is critically important that all students who live at Wesley be especially active in the ministry and activities at Wesley. We expect residents to be full participants in the Wesley community and do all that they can to strengthen community that benefits all the residents as well as the many other students that participate at Wesley.

More details about the expectations of living at Wesley can be found under "Community Covenant."

If you would like to live at Wesley, the application process is pretty simple. To apply, click here.

Application Process for the Academic Year

The application process for Wesley Student Housing is pretty straightforward.

  1. Go here to download the appropriate application. The Academic Year Application is an eight month lease covering the academic year from late August through April. The May and Summer Application is a month to month lease that covers the separate May, Summer I, and Summer II terms.
  2. After your application has been submitted, you will be contacted by the Campus Minister, Rev. Jay Robinson, to set up an interview. The purpose of the interview is to get acquainted and to discuss expectations, both the student's and Wesley's, to make sure there is clear communication and understanding. It is important that the students who are accepted into Wesley housing actually want to participate and be an active part of the Wesley community.
  3. Notifications will be sent by letter by May 15. We do keep a waiting list because openings do sometimes become available during the summer, so it is OK to submit an application after May 15.
  4. If accepted a $200 housing deposit is required. This deposit signifies the student's acceptance and intention to live at Wesley during the academic year. Further details are provided in the acceptance letter.

Application process for May and Summer Terms

The application process for housing during the May and Summer Terms is somewhat more simple:

  1. Go here to download the appropriate application. The May and Summer Application is a month to month lease that covers the separate May, Summer I, and Summer II terms. You may apply for one term, two, or three. There is limited space for August as well. Please ask about August availability.
  2. After your application has been submitted, you will be contacted by the Campus Minister, Rev. Jay Robinson, to set up an interview to discuss your application and the expectations for living at Wesley.
  3. You will be notified probably during the interview of your acceptance.
  4. Rent for May and Summer Terms is due before moving in.
